Sara Fiumicelli

Master Stylist | Colorist

Sara Fiumicelli’s history with LAICALE goes back more than three decades to Tuscany, Italy, where she began her career as a stylist and colorist at the original salon, working alongside her brother and founder, Fabrizio Fiumicelli. When Fabrizio moved to New York City to expand the brand with its SoHo location, Sara took the lead in running the Italian salon before eventually making the move to New York herself.

For more than 20 years, Sara has been a defining presence at LAICALE SoHo and has established herself as one of the salon’s leading stylists and colorists. Equally accomplished in cut and color, she brings decades of experience, technical expertise, and an instinctive understanding of how the two work together to create a complete look. Her expertise has also made her an educator within the international team, training visiting stylists from LAICALE Japan during their time in SoHo.

Throughout her career, Sara has worked with an international clientele that includes celebrities and models, building a portfolio that reflects both the breadth of her experience and the versatility of her work. Her approach is highly individual—considering each client’s hair, features, lifestyle, and personal style rather than applying a signature look to everyone who sits in her chair.

Rooted in the Italian hairdressing tradition that shaped LAICALE and refined through decades of experience in New York, Sara’s work combines precision with an effortless, modern sensibility. As one of the salon’s longest-standing and most accomplished artists, she continues to play an integral role in its creative identity.
